HK p2000 - lightly used for $500, is this a deal? 10PTS - FUN GUN QUESTION?

My uncle is offering to sell me his old HK because I'll be turning 21 in a month. I've shot this pistol a few times and the round count is defiantly low. Its got the v.2 lem trigger and I'm not sure if its 10rd or 13rd magazines. Anyways I was looking at buying a p2000sk for $800 new but a p2000 is slightly larger and a little less then half the price considering he said he'd throw in roughly $150 of high grain ammunition. Should I buy this?? Also a few years back he bought a paddle holster and showed me how it works. Should I ask to buy that too or can paddle holsters be used for different guns ex. kimbers, sigs, ect?
