A Horse bridle bit that could help?

I am sharing a horse with a lady who does not have much time to spend with the horse, but her old horse I noticed was very head shy, and when she first brought this horse she was not, but the horse has started to became head shy when mostly talking off the bridle, so I was thinking maybe when the lady takes off the bridle the bite is hitting her mouth, but I don't want to say anything to the lady about me thinking it's because of her, so is there a bite I could buy that will help or something?
