Is it ok to take a windows live movie maker video and upload it to youtube?

I started off shooting video with a Sony Flipcam, imported that into Windows Movie Maker. I am also including powerpoint slides, Google Earth animation, voiceover and screenshots. What would be the problems using Windows Movie Maker? How to prevent problems if I do? Alternative FREE solutions if you think WMM is inappropriate?
