Do you believe that Damien Echols is innocent?

Larry King interviewed death row inmate Damien Echols on his murder conviction in the Memphis 3 case. Damien has been on death row for over 12 yrs for being the ring leader in the brutal killings of three 8 yr old boys. He has received enormous response from people such as Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fighting for his freedom. He stated on the show he was portrayed as a devil worshiper for listening to Metallica. One of his friends that is mentally challenged confessed to the crime stating he, Echols, and Echols best friend committed the murders after 12 hrs of police interrogation without an attorney or adult. New DNA evidence does not put any of the 3 convicted at the crime but one of the victims stepfather's DNA is present. This sounds compelling, but trial footage shows no emotion on Echols part and he made strange comments at the time. What do you believe? Wrongly convicted or guilty?
